01How fast can we be up and running?+
Minutes. Checkout provisions your program automatically — you get a welcome email, walk through a five-step setup (branding, teams, staff), and import your roster from any CSV or Excel export.
02What’s the difference between Coach, Team, and Program?+
Coach is the core toolkit with 1–6 staff seats for a single team. Team adds unlimited staff, the Equipment Room, and Eligibility for one team. Program covers the whole department — every team, plus Finances, Player Fees, and the Training Room.
03Can we upgrade later?+
Yes, self-serve. Manage your subscription — upgrades, seat changes, payment method, invoices — from the billing portal inside the app.
04Do you lock us into a contract?+
No. Annual plans renew yearly, monthly plans renew monthly, and you can cancel from the billing portal at the end of any period. We export your data cleanly on request.
05Who owns the data?+
You do, unambiguously. VarsityIQ processes it on your behalf; the school is the controller.
06Do coaches need to be tech people?+
No. They sign in with the school account they already have — Google or Microsoft district accounts, Apple, or plain email — and only see the tools their role allows.
07Can athletes and boosters access it?+
Yes — included on every plan. Athletes get their own portal, and boosters get a public, no-login volunteer sign-up page.
